Myspace
Myspace is the most visted website of 2007? That is sad. Personally I dislike myspace. It seems like a place to make friends if you cant make them in real life. I just say this because you make yourself seem like anything you want, and with all the liars out there, your not truly meeting someone, your just meeting what they want you to meet, if that makes sense. Myspace inspires liars.
David Bolinsky
David Bolinsky, a Medical instructer for Harvard with a graphic design background researches and puts together videos and pictures of what our bodies truly look like from the simplest form. The video he showed about the hundreds of micromachines working and running around in a single cell is amazing. He claims that humans almost know a (singular) percent a bout how the micromachines work.

David Gallo: Underwater astonishments
David Gallo talks about the deep blue that we have barely explored. He comments that we have found only about 3% of the organisms in the sea, due to the water pressure and the lack of light. He shows us some awesome video clips of bioluminescent fish, a squid that can camouflage itself to look like a reef or rock, and a video of a male squid that can change to white when its aggressive. The male squid is able to make half of himself white to keep off other males (when around a female) and the side thats facing the female squid stays its regular orangish-red color.
David really does a good job showing us the wonders of the deep blue sea that we have barely scratched the surface of.

Sir Ken Robinson
Does school kill creativity? no. If it did, then why would they offer such classes as Band and art. If they offered a dancing class, like Sir Ken suggested, that would lead (at least in our area) to a lot of name calling and making fun of. Sure I hate school, I hate sitting in a chair for hours and being lectured at, but what really kills creativity? many people give credit to the TV for that.
I think the real question is, does School bore us to death to the point where we dont want to be creative? Yes. School could be more interesting, any many ways. Any change really would be nice. But a dancing class? Maybe it would help 1 in a 100, but every day people are not going to make a living off of dancing like the producer of Cats.

My Biography
Hola, me llamo Hunter. My name is Hunter Harbin, currently attending Rappahanock High School. Im 16 years old and a Junior. I was born and raised in Georgia, about 45minutes away from Savannah. I moved to Virginia when I was 9 and in the 4th grade. From living in the deep south for so long, Virginia seems really cold to me.
I hope to get into James Madison University, and working hard on my grades to get in. Im not sure what I want to major in, but I would like something along the lines of working with computers.
